The Employment Matters program utilizes evidenced based methods of finding and securing competitive employment for individuals, in an effort to improve their quality of life. Operating under a team approach, each individual will have immediate access to a team of specialists.
The team includes:
- Employment Specialists, who will assist with all aspects of job development and coaching.
- An Education Specialist who will provide education planning and support.
- A Benefits Counselor who will aid the individual in obtaining and
- understanding benefits and entitlements
- And a clinical team, which includes a Licensed Counselor and a Psychiatrist to foster positive mental health and wellness.
Program Goals:
- To assist the individual with developing employable skills with the goal of obtaining and maintaining employment
- To improve overall health/wellness which benefits an individual’s recovery by fostering improvement in symptoms, self-esteem, and financial security.
- To reduce community stigma through provider training, community outreach, and employer collaboration.
